Who knew? I didn’t, but fortunately just made a faux batch of croissants (aka crescent rolls). I’ve been working on a few different bread pudding recipes and made chocolate-filled “croissants” for my spin on Banana Split Bread Pudding.
I’d planned to try a banana version; I’d already created pumpkin and tiramisu versions. But when a friend asked if I had any banana bread pudding recipes, it moved up on my list. He’d just had a scrumptious one in Mexico. He confessed it may have been the margaritas that made it so yummy, but the gauntlet was tossed.
My “test kitchen” is enjoying it this morning. My colleagues will either hate me for sabotaging their New Year’s resolutions, or will love me for bringing surprise treats. Either way, I get the feedback for feeding them.
