Finally got home after a long day of soccer and errands. I needed to make something quick. I’d picked up some Olli Salame in honor of National Salami Day but at 7:30 it was getting late for my planned apps.
Taking stock of what else was on hand I decided on pizza. I had fresh mozzarella, onions, yellow pepper and a couple of bacon strips leftover from breakfast. To make it really quick and fend off the hungry family members, ready-to-bake pizza dough saved the day. I split the dough in half to make two different pizzas.
The Breville Crispy Crust Pizza Maker makes thin crust pizza in under 6 minutes. Dinner was ready in 10. I used about 3-4 tbs sauce, 5 slices fresh mozzarella, 2 tbs chopped onion, 2 tbs chopped yellow pepper, 2 bacon strips and about 1/3 of the salame thinly sliced. Finishing off the pizza was fresh herbs, seal salt and black pepper.
