More dessert recipes from the June 6 airing of Cook’s Corner featuring honey as the star. The Honey Yogurt Sauce tastes great on its own or as a topping for fresh or grilled fruit. The Honey Chocolate Sauce and the Salted Caramel Honey Sauce are also great out of the jar … but try using them on ice cream, crepes, grilled fruit, and cheese.

Honey Yogurt Sauce

Mint and Honey Yogurt Sauce

What you need:

  • 3/4 c yogurt
  • 1/4 c raw honey
  • 1 tbs finely chopped mint

What you do:

  • In med bowl whisk all ingredients.
  • Spoon over fruit (grilled peaches, apples, berries, etc.)

Salted Caramel Honey Sauce

Salted Caramel Honey SauceWhat you need:

  • 1/2 c butter
  • 1 c raw honey
  • 1/2 c cream
  • Freshly ground sea salt

What you do:

  • In med saucepan over med-high heat melt butter.
  • Add honey and bring to low rolling boil for about 2 min.
  • Add cream and whisk well.
  • Remove from head and add sea salt to taste.
  • Store in sealed jars in refrig.

Chocolate Honey Sauce

Dark Chocolate Honey Sauce

What you need:

  • 4 tbs butter
  • 1 c raw honey
  • 1/2 c good quality bittersweet chocolate chips

What you do:

  • In med saucepan over med heat melt butter.
  • Add honey and chocolate, stirring occasionally until chips have melted.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Store in sealed jars in refrig.
