What you do:

  • In small saucepan mix blackberries, sugar and syrup.
  • Heat until sugar is melted.
  • Add juice from 1 lemon.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Strain, if desired, to remove seeds.
  • Whisk in mascarpone.
