Oreo Cookie Truffles

oreo trufflesIngredients:

  • 36 oreo cookies.
  • 8 oz mascarpone or cream cheese.
  • 8 oz Ghiradelli semi-sweet chocolate, melted. (I made a batch adding some Trader Joe’s Chipotle Chocolate)
  • Dusting: cocoa powder, espresso granules, etc., if desired.


  • Crush oreos in food processor
  • Place in mixing bowl and add mascarpone.
  • Mix well.
  • Scoop into 1-1 1/2″ balls and placed on wax paper.
  • Melt chocolate in double boiler.
  • When melted, add Oreo balls, one at a time, roll to coat evenly.
  • Remove and place on waxed paper.
  • Repeat.
  • Dust with desired topping.
  • Chill until firm.
