Spiced Rum’kin

Spiced Rum'kin

It's one of my daily servings of fruit, right?

Delicious hot or cold. I was so excited to buy apple cider cups for my Keurig!

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz apple cider (or Crystal Light iced tea for a skinny version)
  • 2 oz Bacardi Oakheart Spiced Rum
  • 1 oz DiSaronno
  • 1/8 c pumpkin puree
  • Dash of nutmeg, toasted pumpkin seeds for garnish

Directions:

  • Fill cocktail shaker with ice*
  • Add ingredients
  • Shake moderately and strain into chilled martini glass
  • Garnish with dash of nutmeg and toasted pumpkin seeds

*If you’d like to make the hot version,

  • Heat cider and pour into glass or mug
  • Add liquor and pumpkin to cocktail shaker
  • Shake moderately and strain into cider
  • Garnish with dash of nutmeg and toasted pumpkin seeds

  1. Do you have any tried-and-true recipes for homemade liqueurs? Limoncello, in particular.
